SOFT SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Self Development as one of the courses in Bachelor Program aims to develop students' ability in recognizing their self potentials. Through the T-group activities, building action plan, and mentoring, students are facilitated by mentor team to recognize themselves, discover potential, and socialize in the broader environment. The process of personal development of students is focused on the development of four soft skills: Self Confidence, Relationship Building, Team Leadership, and Passion for Growth.
Team Development is a course which gives students the ability to build a group and maintain the performance of the group. Each group should be directed to support each other in realizing a project or event with a different theme each year. Facilitated by mentor, students are equipped with interpersonal skills, teamwork, and conflict management in designing, preparing, implementing, and evaluating the project or event.
Team Development is equipped with experiential learning methods, through Outbound Training. The students are expected to explore their potential in various activities in nature, which can support the preparation of the project or event.
PPM School of Management provides a program that is able to bring a positive impact to community in the area around through the Community Development course. With the theme of Education and Small Business, this course aims to develop leadership skills, build character, and fulfilling role in community development. Through Community Development, the students of PPM SoM are expected to evolve into a responsible person, behave positively and productively in society.
Through the course of Leadership, the students of Master’s Program Wijawiyata Manajemen are invited to get to know self potential, learn to cooperate with others effectively, develop competencies through small groups, and social sensitivity on communities. The process of personal development of students PPM School of Management is focused on the development of four (4) soft skills: Self Confidence, Relationship Building, Team Leadership, and Passion for Growth. One of the methods used is experiential learning through the activities of Outbound Training. The students are expected to explore their potential in various activities in nature, which can support the preparation of the project or event.
At the end of the Leadership course, the students are asked to create Community Awareness program. In these activities, students will provide programs to bring a positive impact in the communities around PPM. Hopefully, through Community Awareness activities, students are expected to have social sensitivity towards the local community and able to contribute positively in the community.
COACHING AND PLACEMENT UNIT
PPM School of Management requires students to undergo Work Practice in companies that are part of the final project (thesis or Thesis). Through Job Training participants are expected to be recognized in the company's management practices, gain business insight and managerial actual, getting an opportunity to apply the concepts learned, and practice professionalism in working order at the time of work later adapt the process can take place more quickly. In addition, participants also have the opportunity to train and improve the skills of building relationships with other people (interpersonal skills) that is necessary for them to become effective leaders in the future.
Towards the end of the year, regularly PPM School of Management held a Talent Fair. This activity was held for 4 days (held once a year) is filled with a variety of activities that can be followed by participants Talent Fair as preparation for entering the world of work, including seminar techniques to create a CV and face job interview, mock-up interview, drop CV (attended by more than 30 companies), psychological and photographed talent mapping, which can be used to plan a career. This event is held regularly to facilitate the PPM School of Management graduates in obtaining employment.
PPM School of Management provides regular seminars or workshops for final year students, as a form of preparation for entering the provisioning Work Practice and the world of work. Seminar or workshop materials provided by HR practitioners such as engineering firms with a topic to write a CV, job interview techniques, and job performance.
